Operation: How to replace the battery on Volkswagen Golf Plus

Replacing the battery on Volkswagen Golf Plus is a fairly simple operation since the latter is easily accessible inside the engine compartment, before starting it is advisable to remove the keys from the instrument panel and to disable any electronic device on the car including the radio. Once all the electronic devices have been deactivated, the battery can be disassembled, as already mentioned, the latter will be positioned inside the engine compartment protected by an easily removable cover that will reveal its contacts. After removing the cover, you will have access to the two power poles, these will be characterized by two cables connected to the two poles of the battery through two clamps tightened by a pin each, to disconnect the terminals it will be sufficient to loosen the pins always starting from the negative pole characterized by the "minus" symbol. Once both terminals have been disconnected, you can proceed by loosening the fixing pin which is usually placed on the left side at the bottom next to the intake sleeve and after this it will be possible to remove the battery from the engine compartment. Once the old battery has been removed, you can insert the new one and reconnect everything in the reverse order to that of disassembly. It may also happen that after the replacement some parameters of the car such as the clock will be distorted and can be restored by accessing the on-board menu via the instrument panel.
