Removing the Fuse Box on a New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

Need to access the fuses for the car's operation? Access the fuse box in the engine compartment. Open the car door, pull up the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it (gas strut). Disconnect the cap next to the vehicle's power battery and remove it from the fuse box. Once the box is exposed, replace any damaged fuses with new ones. After maintenance, reattach the fuse box cap and close the front bonnet. Replace all damaged fuses.
