It is possible to remove the external door trim as if it were a fairing, a bit like in the case of the smart. However, the first operation to be carried out is to remove the external handle: once the door is opened, along the side edge, near the lock, there is a rubber coating that covers the edge itself and masks some fixing pins of the panel in question. Then remove this covering simply by pulling it: at the height of the handle there is a hole from which to access to unscrew the fixing screw of the handle; once the screw is loosened, the handle comes off. At this point it is possible to unscrew all the fixing screws of the panel present along the whole edge of the door.
