Removing the handle from a Golf 7? Want to take it out from inside the door? Here’s how to remove and replace it. Unscrew the screw located on the side of the door with a screwdriver (as shown in the video), remove the left cover of the handle (lock if on the driver's side), then slide the handle to the left of the door. Remove the door opening handle at the end of the disassembly. Insert the new handle into the car door, secure the lock next to it, and screw in the securing screws. Cover the lock with the plastic cover (if on the driver's side).
