Air Filter Replacement on Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. Remove the engine cover: this is a very simple operation as it is only clipped in place, so release the clips and disconnect the air duct near the bumper. Place the cover on a workbench with the underside facing up: this way you can unscrew the numerous small screws that secure the compartment and separate it into two parts. By opening the compartment, you can access the air filter, which can now be easily removed and replaced with a new one.
