Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 4, Golf IV, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Cabin air filter
Operation: Cabin air filter replacement

The passenger compartment air filter can be accessed from the engine compartment as it is positioned under the windscreen: therefore open the front hood, remove the gasket and unscrew the front fixing screws of the plastic covering present under the windscreen, on the passenger side and remove it. At this point it is already possible to intercept the filter: remove it, make sure there are no residues in the container and insert the new one respecting the direction of the air flow; let the fastening clips engage and refit the plastic cover and the gasket. It is also recommended that the passenger compartment be sanitized with a special spray.
