Replacement of Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

Access the cabin air filter from the engine compartment as it is located under the windscreen: open the front bonnet, remove the seal, and unscrew the front screws securing the plastic cover under the windscreen on the passenger side, then remove it. At this point, you can access the filter: extract it, ensure there are no residues in the housing, and insert the new one, respecting the airflow direction; secure the fixing clips and reassemble the plastic cover and seal. It is also recommended to sanitise the cabin with a suitable spray.
