Removing the Cabin Fan Resistor on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Do you want to remove the air fan resistor? Let's see how to remove the resistor from inside the front dashboard of the Polo. Unscrew the securing screws around the glove compartment: remove the glove compartment from inside the dashboard. Disconnect the large connector of the resistor, then extract it from the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor into the dashboard compartment (connect the power connector). Refit the glove compartment and tighten the screws. Check the correct fitting of the previously installed parts and test the correct operation of the air using the controls.
