Trigger the manual key by pressing the appropriate button, then leverage the gap created with a flat-head screwdriver or a knife. By doing this, the cover that conceals the battery will come off, allowing you to remove it. Now extract the battery (which is a CR2025 3 Volt, available at any hardware store or large supermarkets) by prying it out with a small flat screwdriver.

Insert the new battery by hand, ensuring it is seated correctly, reassemble the remote, and you're done. As you can see, it's a task that anyone can manage.
