Thermostat Replacement on Volkswagen Golf 4 TDI

Lift the bonnet and place the support rod. First, drain the coolant, then proceed to remove the thermostat. If you do not know how to drain the coolant, the video shows which pipe to free for this purpose. Unscrew the two 10 mm bolts slightly hidden under the alternator, and detach the pipe to which the thermostat is fixed. Remove it from the pipe, replace it with the new one you purchased that is equivalent to the original, ensuring it is seated properly, and then reverse the steps until fully reassembled. Good luck!
