Removing the Float on VW Golf 4

Do you want to remove the float from inside the car's fuel tank? Let’s see how to disassemble the components on a VW Golf 4. Open the rear door, access the inside of the vehicle, and remove the rear seat cushions. Use a socket to undo the screws securing the metal cap, and remove it from its housing. Use a chisel to undo the large securing nut of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump float from its housing along with the attached components. Before fitting all the cover pieces, test the float pump.
