Replacement of Engine Air Filter and Spark Plugs

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

The engine air filter is located within the engine cover: to remove it, first disconnect the fastening clips of the front air duct and the hose connected to the filter housing. Once the cover is removed and placed on a workbench, unscrew the fastening screws of the filter housing cap, extract it, and insert the new one after dusting its seat (ensure no debris enters the intake duct).
Since you have removed the engine cover, it may be useful to check the spark plugs as well: disconnect the connectors from the ignition coils, unscrew the fastening screws of the coils, and remove the leads; dust off before unscrewing the spark plugs and proceed with their removal. Install the new spark plugs and proceed in reverse for reassembly.
