Removing the Front Seats from the Volkswagen Polo mk5

This guide shows how to remove the front seat for both the driver and passenger in the Volkswagen Polo mk5. The first step is to disconnect the ignition key and, if possible, disconnect the battery to avoid any potential airbag malfunctions. Next, pull the seat you want to remove all the way back to expose two M10 bolts on the rail. Unscrew them. After this step, do the same for the bolts located at the back of the seat; then push the seat all the way forward and unscrew the other two bolts. After freeing the seat, tilt it towards the inside of the vehicle to disconnect the airbag cables. You can now remove the seat from the vehicle.
