How to Remove the Bonnet Release Lever on a Volkswagen Jetta?

Model: Volkswagen Jetta A4, MK 4 - Years 1998-2005

To replace the bonnet release lever, go inside the cabin and locate it: it is situated under the steering column on the left side. To extract it, use a flathead screwdriver and insert it into the slot at the back of the handle. By levering, you can remove a clip that secures the lever to the bodywork. Once the clip is removed, you can pull the lever out towards yourself. At this point, after removing the old lever, you can insert the new lever and secure it with the corresponding clip.
