Today, in this video tutorial, see the necessary instructions to remove the steering wheel and ignition lock on the Volkswagen Golf fifth series. First, disconnect the battery; then turn the steering wheel to one side and then the other to release the airbag from the steering wheel, pressing with a flat screwdriver on the slots, as illustrated in the video. Now disconnect the airbag electrical connector and use a Torx key with an extension to unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel; you can finally remove it, following the video to the end for the disassembly of the ignition cylinder!
