Replacing Spark Plugs on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Switch off the engine and pull the handbrake. Open the bonnet and prop it up. To access the spark plugs, you need to remove the air duct. Using a pair of pliers, hold the clamp ring while sliding off the duct. Repeat the same on the other side of the duct. Disconnect the electrical part of each spark plug coil by pressing the plastic lever and pulling the connector upwards. Using a 10mm socket, unscrew the bolts of the coil, then extract it using a screwdriver as leverage. Repeat the process for all coils.
