To replace the air filter on the Volkswagen Golf 7, open the bonnet to access the engine bay: you need to free the box containing the filter from all the connectors and hoses it is attached to. Once the box is free, it can be extracted and turned upside down by loosening the bolts located at its bottom.

By removing them, you will be able to open the box and remove the old filter from inside.

At this point, insert the new filter and close the box, reconnecting it to the hoses and connectors previously disconnected.
