How to Replace the Fuel Pump Relay on a Volkswagen Golf

To replace the fuel pump relay on a Volkswagen Golf 5, locate the box that contains all the relays. This is positioned behind a protective plastic cover, found at the driver's side, halfway between the steering wheel and the pedals. Once the cover is removed, pull out the relay and replace it with a new part. After inserting the new relay, close the box by reinstalling the cover. With the new part, you can also check the operation of the fuel pump.
