Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 2, Golf 2 - Years 1983-1992

In this tutorial video, you will learn how to remove the fuel tank from a second generation Volkswagen Golf. First, lift the vehicle and remove the bolts from the brackets supporting the tank; then disconnect the electrical connector and detach all the hoses connected to the fuel pump. At this point, remove the pump and filter, and position a jack with a base underneath the tank to lower it slowly. Unscrew the side mounting bolts and remove the tank, as shown in the video!
