In this tutorial, discover the steps to remove and replace the alternator on the fifth series Volkswagen Golf. First, open the bonnet and start by disconnecting the battery terminals (positive and negative); then remove the air intake hose by disconnecting the electrical connector from the mass airflow sensor, as shown in the video.

Next, remove the alternator belt and unscrew its bolts, disconnecting its electrical connector; remove it and replace it with the new one, following the video to the end!
