The air filter plays a central role in maintaining optimum engine health and efficiency. For this reason it is essential to replace it at the right time so as not to cause damage to the engine, especially considering any abnormal overheating. Contrary to what one might think, it is a very simple operation and just follow the following indications. First of all make sure you have turned off the car engine and above all that the temperature is quite low. Then open the front hood, locate the plastic cover of the air filter and disconnect it from the present connector. Then unscrew the screws present and remove the entire piece. Immediately below is the filter. Remove it and replace it with a new one. Finally, refit the cover correctly and close the hood.
