Replacing the DSG Automatic Gearbox Oil of the Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI

In this guide, you will learn how to remove and replace the DSG automatic gearbox oil of the Volkswagen Passat with a 2.0 TDI engine. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located directly underneath; then drain the oil into a container for about ten minutes. Next, open the bonnet and use a 24 mm socket spanner to remove the gearbox oil filter; replace the cartridge with a new one and top up with new automatic gearbox oil!
