In this guide, discover the steps to remove and replace the glow plugs in the engine of the Volkswagen Passat with a TDI engine. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the plastic engine cover; then disconnect the connectors of the glow plugs found on the cylinder head cover, as shown in the video. At this point, use a 10 mm socket wrench with an extension to unscrew and remove the four glow plugs; replace them with new ones that have the same thread pitch, screwing them in by hand before tightening with the wrench!
