How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the fuel pump on a Volkswagen Golf, you need to unclip the fastening pins that secure the rear seat to its housing so that it can be removed. After removing the seat, you will have access to the components underneath: here you will find the pump that needs to be removed from its housing by disconnecting the connector attached to it and unscrewing the screws that secure it. Once the pump is free, you can pull it out from its location and insert a new one. After installation, be sure to refit the rear seat.
