How to Remove the Central Console in the Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014

To remove the central console of the vehicle, follow the instructions below: First, unscrew the locking screw of the ashtray drawer and pull it out, disconnecting the cigarette lighter connector located behind it. After that, remove the trim around the air conditioning controls and the central display, and underneath it, you will find the four screws securing the touch display. Once removed, disconnect all wiring and connectors at the back. Finally, unscrew the screws securing the air conditioning control panel located just below, and then unscrew the screws of the central panel of the console.
