Instructions for Removing Door Panel

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 6 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Door trim panel

Almost all German-manufactured cars have an additional panel beneath the door trim, usually made of aluminium, which serves a sound-absorbing function and provides greater rigidity to the door itself. To remove the trim panel, first disconnect the trim of the internal handle to access the screws underneath; additional screws are located along the edge of the panel. Once all screws are removed, pry along the edges to disengage the clips, and after removing the panel, disconnect the lock cable and connectors to complete the disassembly. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
