How to Remove the Steering Wheel on a Volkswagen Crafter

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the airbag and remove the steering wheel on a 2018 Volkswagen Crafter by following a few simple steps. The first thing to do is to get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake; lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod; disconnect the negative battery cable to work more safely and avoid damage to the electrical system. Get back into the vehicle and turn the steering wheel fully to the left; behind the steering wheel, there is a hole, and using a screwdriver, lift the securing hook located inside this hole to release the airbag; once the airbag is released, pull it towards you and disconnect the airbag cable with the screwdriver; at this point, unscrew the central bolt holding the steering wheel, using a Torx key to remove the bolt, pull the steering wheel towards you, and the job is done.
