How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Fuel pump

To replace the fuel pump on a Volkswagen Golf, disconnect the pins securing the rear seat cushions. These are located at the junction between the backrest and the cushions, as well as at the front of the cushions. Once the cushions are removed, you can access the pump located underneath on the left side. Open the cover, disconnect the cables attached to the pump, and remove it from its housing, replacing it with a new spare part. After the replacement, reinstall all previously removed parts.
