To change the engine oil in a Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSI, lift the car to access the bolts securing the lower panel, allowing access to the components underneath. Here, you will find the oil drain plug, which must be opened by unscrewing the appropriate bolt and collecting the used oil in a suitably positioned container. While the oil drains, you can also remove the old oil filter located nearby and replace it with a new one. Once all the oil has drained, close the drain plug and top up the oil through the designated reservoir in the engine bay.
