How to Replace the Cabin Fan Resistor on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the cabin fan resistor on a Volkswagen Polo, open the glove compartment to loosen the screws inside and detach the side retaining clips. Once the glove compartment is removed, you can access the components at the back: here you will find the cabin fan, and above it to the right, the resistor. Disconnect it from its cable and remove it from its housing to replace it with a new one; finally, remount all the components that were removed.
