The radiator grille is not only decorative but also serves a protective function. Its role is to protect against dust, mud, and other objects that can damage the radiator's functionality.

There are cases where the grille can become damaged and therefore needs to be replaced. Typically, manufacturers of these grilles seek a compromise between functionality and appearance.

In larger vehicles, there is a component called an arch that absorbs impacts, preventing damage to the grille and, consequently, to the radiator. When the arch can no longer protect, the grille must be replaced.

The process is straightforward, as it is usually a snap-fit.
