The procedure for replacing the spark plugs in the Volkswagen Golf begins with lifting the front hood to be able to remove the engine cover. Once this part has been removed, it is possible to disconnect the ignition coil connectors and remove the coils from their housing. At this point it is advisable to clean the surrounding area to prevent debris from accidentally ending up inside the spark plug wells. After cleaning, the spark plugs can be removed using the appropriate ratchet wrench and, once replaced with new ones, the various elements can be repositioned in their places.
