In this video tutorial we can see when it is recommended to use or deactivate the start and stop on Volkswagen Golf, the same also applies to other models such as VW Tiguan, T-Roc, Passat, Polo, T-Cross. The Start & Stop system aims to make your vehicle consume less fuel and reduce CO2 emissions. This system is activated during prolonged stops by stopping the engine and is automatically reactivated as soon as the driver depresses the clutch pedal, or takes his foot off the brake in the case of automatic transmission. In most cars fitted with this system there is a button which allows you to deactivate the start & stop system, if you prefer not to use it (the battery could run out sooner), because it is considered annoying.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
