If the police stop you on the road for a check and want to cross-reference the legal chassis number of the vehicle (the one stamped on the chassis) with your registration document, you must be able to indicate it precisely. The plate on the windscreen is not the legal chassis number; it is merely a courtesy plate used by dealers to move and assign vehicles before selling to the final customer.

Even if you take the vehicle to the DVLA for an inspection, you must know where the chassis number is located. In the case of the Volkswagen Caravelle T6, it is found under the windscreen, beneath the rain drainage grille, on the passenger side.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
