To replace the seat belt on a Volkswagen Up, lever under the foam part of the rear seat to lift it. Once the seat is raised, you will have access to the components underneath; here you will find the bolt that secures the seat belt anchor, which needs to be removed. This will allow you to replace the part with a new one, repositioning the seat afterwards; you can also remove the seat belt along with the corresponding reel by disassembling the covers of the door pillars.
