To replace the front brake pads on a Volkswagen Golf, lift the car so that the wheel corresponding to the pads being replaced is not in contact with the ground. Once lifted, remove the bolts securing the wheel and take it off completely. Now, loosen the screws that secure the brake caliper to the brake disc, allowing the pads inside to be extracted. After removal, install the new pads, securing everything with the appropriate fixing bolts.
