How to Change the Oil and Oil Filter on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

To change the engine oil and oil filter on the Volkswagen Tiguan, lift the vehicle to access the components underneath the engine bay. There will be a protective panel that needs to be removed by unscrewing its fixing screws. Once these are removed, take off the panel to access the oil drain plug; unscrew it to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. On the opposite side of the plug, you will find the oil filter, which also needs to be unscrewed to replace it with a new one. Finally, top up the oil from the inside of the engine bay.
