This guide will show you how to remove and replace the engine oil and oil filter, performing the regular service maintenance on the Volkswagen Tiguan. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter using the appropriate tool to remove and replace the cartridge with the new one, as shown in the video.

At this point, unscrew the filler cap and pour in the new engine oil of the correct type!
