How to Replace the Ignition Switch on the Volkswagen New Beetle?

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

To replace the ignition switch on the Volkswagen New Beetle, loosen the screws securing the cover of the lower part of the steering column. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the underlying ignition switch. Release it from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the relevant power cables. This will allow you to connect and secure the new ignition switch properly. Finally, cover everything by refitting the lower protection panel of the steering column.
