Door Lock Removal Instructions

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018

To remove the door lock, it is not necessary to take off the panel. Start by removing the plastic cover located directly on the lock using a plastic lever to avoid damaging the paint. Next, open the door and remove the rubber cap located at the level of the lock: under the rubber cap, there are two Torx screws that need to be unscrewed to allow the lock to be extracted. Then, insert the new lock fully into the door, apply the screws, and replace the rubber and plastic caps.
