Disassemble the Lock from the Rear Door of Jetta

This guide covers the disassembly of the lock from the door of a Volkswagen Jetta. Open the door and remove the inner cover panel.

Unscrew the securing screws located in the plastic panel (where the internal handle is). Remove the cover plastic of the door (use a plastic or metal lever if needed), and disconnect any power connectors. Disassemble the lock from the side of the external handle.

Remove the faulty lock and install a new one. Follow the same procedure for reassembling the plastics and associated parts. Screw in the screws on the side of the door.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
