Rear Light Bulb Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

Each rear light consists of two elements, one fixed to the tailgate and the other attached directly to the bodywork. To check the condition of the bulbs and replace them if necessary, proceed in two steps. Start with the portion of the light attached to the tailgate: there is a cap on the inner cover that needs to be removed to access the light housing. Disconnect the power connector and release the retaining clips of the bulb holder to access the bulbs (T10 and T5 fittings). To remove the light attached to the bodywork, it is necessary to remove the inner trim and locate the hole that allows access to the fixing nut of the light. Once removed, you can proceed in the same manner to check the bulbs (bayonet fitting).
