How to Replace the Water Pump on the Volkswagen Golf 7?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

To replace the water pump on the Volkswagen Golf 7, open the bonnet to access the engine bay and locate the pump at the front of the engine block. Once located, remove the upper engine cover and disconnect various hoses and connectors to access the part. This should then be disconnected and freed from its housing by loosening its securing bolts. After removing the old pump, install a new replacement part and reassemble all previously removed components.
