How to reset the 7-speed DSG gearbox on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

Let’s go through the procedure to reset the 7-speed DSG gearbox on a Volkswagen Tiguan. Here are the steps to follow: 1) Insert the key and turn it to position 1 to switch on the instrument display; 2) Press the accelerator pedal for 20 seconds; 3) Without releasing the pedal, turn the key to the OFF position to switch off the instrument display; 4) Continue to hold the pedal for another 20 seconds; 5) Release the pedal; 6) Remove the key. The reset procedure is now complete. All that’s left is to turn on the ignition, start the engine, and take it for a test drive.
