How to Replace the Thermostat on a Volkswagen Bora?

To replace the thermostat on a Volkswagen Bora, open the bonnet to access the components located within the engine bay: first, detach the plastic cover from the top of the engine block to access the underlying components. This will allow you to locate the coolant pipe connected to the front of the engine block: by disconnecting this pipe, you can find the underlying thermostat, which can be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new one. After replacement, refit all previously removed components.
