Where to Find the Fuse Boxes in the Volkswagen Bora

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 6 - Years 1998-2005

Locate the fuse boxes in the Volkswagen Bora (the same applies for the Jetta). In the cabin, the fuse box is situated behind the cover on the driver's side of the instrument panel, adjacent to the driver's door. To open it, insert a small screwdriver into a designated slot and lever it open. In this box, you will find fuse #35, which is the 12-volt power socket in the boot, and fuse #41, which is for the cigarette lighter (power socket). Physically located above the battery - thus in the engine bay - there is a series of high-intensity fuses. A relay box is located at the bottom of the dashboard (driver's side) behind the panel.
