A weak connection between the alternator and the battery can cause a series of problems while the engine is running: the battery may not receive a proper charge, so if many electrical accessories are used or short trips are made, this will lead to the battery being discharged; we may have difficulty starting the car; lights that dim or flicker; power windows that move slowly; the radio turning off for no reason; warning lights appearing on the dashboard. And then the damage we see in the video: a loose or corroded connection can create resistance to the flow of current, generating heat, which can damage the cables, battery terminals, and even the alternator itself; we may notice a burning smell coming from the engine, and the battery terminals or connectors may appear corroded or damaged.
