How to Disable the Blind Spot Monitor on Volkswagen Vehicles

To disable the Blind Spot Monitor on Volkswagen vehicles, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch. Once the cluster is powered, select the "Assist system" option and then the "Blind Spot Monitor" option. Select it using the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel, and uncheck the box next to the label to deactivate the system. To reactivate it, simply check the box next to the same label.
