Removing Door Panel for Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005
Part: Door trim panel

The tools required for this operation are: a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a T25 Torx key, and a spatula. Remove the handle cover and unscrew the retaining screws. Also unscrew all the screws from the panel and, using the spatula, gently remove the panel along the edges, which should be carefully pulled upwards. Disconnect the electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, taking care not to pull them. Refit the new panel, starting with the connection of the electrical cables. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reinsert the screws.
