Replace the Central Locking Mechanism of a Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

Removing the inner door panel to access the lock? Here’s how to remove the panel from the Passat. Detach the cover under the handle and unscrew the screws inside. Unscrew the screws beneath the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (unplug the power wiring and the opening cable). Remove the cover to access inside the door. Locate the door lock and disconnect the connections. Unscrew the screws and remove the part. Install the new lock inside the door along with all the components.
