How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Polo

Open the bonnet to access the screws securing the panel on the left side of the engine block. Next, loosen the screws that secure the right front wheel and the corresponding wheel arch. Once these components are removed, you can loosen the central nut of the tensioner pulley to reduce the tension on the timing belt, allowing you to remove it. When fitting the new belt, ensure everything functions correctly.
